Waking up to the decision to change from being an International NGO Accountant with 12years experience to being a Digital Marketing Strategist was the boldest decision I have ever made. Do you know that it’s possible to be committed to a job, or career, or business that you are good at but, that does not fulfil you anymore? That was me.
I chose to school my creativity by teaching myself Digital Marketing, so that I could make a living working with individuals, businesses and brands to maximise the internet and tech to stand out, create or grow income. Seeing businesses more than triple their income, or working with an individual to unpack how they can leverage on the internet and tech has been very rewarding.
Besides the Digital Marketing Consultancy, I develop tech-based solutions and products social impact. Even the agency I run has strong social entrepreneurship-based projects and services. I have said all this to say that my exposure to this world has also made me realise that there is a bad way and a good way of using tech.
